What are Trebors?

The Trebors are an elaborate combination of human and squirrel, having evolved into a specious that is both highly intelligent and most deeply in tune with its animalistic roots.

Their overall bodies are basically human in nature, but their faces have a combined look and their legs and arms take on the characteristics of a merged species. The Trebors big, curious and expressive eyes are always the first thing you’ll notice. When you are with a Trebor you feel like they can understand everything inside you

They are farmers and inventors being very smart and good with their hands. They wear clothes that are simple and reminiscent of early settlers on the prairies of the West.  Plain, simple colors.   They make everything they use and wear from the things of the earth.  It is also interesting to note that Trebors are not meat eaters, partly explaining why their teeth have evolved without the pointy canine teeth.

Where do Trebors live?

The Trebors all live in the GREAT TREE. Rumors of old suggest the tree was born of a match between the ancient sequoias and maples. No living Trebor has seen the days when the sequoia and maple trees populated the forest.

According to legend, the trunk of the great tree bears the breadth and might of the sequoia, while the branches and leave reflect the grace of the maple tree. There is no other tree like their home in all of Bori or beyond.

The inside walls are smooth and warm (expect right after the storm).  The colors are peaceful and calm.

 What do Trebors eat?

Trebors are vegetarians and eat only what they gather from the land or grow. Here are some of their staple foods:

  • Rumple Fruit – Look like an orange but are red. Trebors have to peal it to eat the juicy inside. Grow on a bush.

  • Yaza Fruit – Long and green inside and out, you don’t have to peal it to eat it.  The inside is firm and crisp and bright green. Grows on a tree.

  • Kasha – A grain that they use to make breads. Grow in their crop fields.

  • Pink Beans – Pink and gritty tasting. They start hopping once they are pulled off the vine (like a jumping pean).

  • Flanuts – They are round, flat and orange and taste like almonds and peanuts combined. They grow on vines close to the earth.

  • Quinold – Giant gourds of all different colors (red, purple, green, brown). They grow off the ends of tree branches very slowly until they touch the ground. They are then taken down and sliced.  Often cooked.
